Ruth B

Ruth Berhe better known as Ruth B was born on born July 2, 1995. She is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta. She started by singing songs on Vine in early 2013. In January 2015, she released her debut single, "Lost Boy", which first started off as a singing Vine she had made up. In November 2015, she released her debut EP, The Intro. She is signed with Columbia records. She graduated from Ross Sheppard High School in 2013. She attended MacEwan University , taking time off her studies to focus on music, where Ruth continued her education in Winnipeg, Manitoba before she started her singing career. Berhe posted her first Vine video on May 9, 2013, and started making singing Vines about a year later. Her singing Vines, typically six second covers of popular songs, helped grow her a following. In November 2014, she posted a Vine of her singing a line that she had made up, which was inspired by the television series Once upon a time. It garnered around 84,000 likes within a week, which was unusual for her at the time. She took note of its popularity, with some of her followers commenting that she should make it into a full song. It became "Lost Boy", which she posted on Youtube on January 18, 2015 and was released on iTunes on February 12, 2015.

The Weekend
Abęl Makkonen Tesfaye, known professionally by his Stage name The Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born born 16 February 1990. In late 2010, Tesfaye anonymously uploaded several songs to Youtube under the name "The Weeknd". He released three nine-track mixtapes throughout 2011 which were critically acclaimed. The following year, he released a compilation album Trilogy tracks consisting of remastered versions of the mixtape material and three additional songs. It was released under Republic Studios and his own label XO. His second album, Beauty behind the madness, which became his first number one album on the billboard 200 included the top-five single "Earned it” and produced the number-one singles "The Hills" and "Can’t feel my face". The songs have simultaneously held the top three spots on the Billboard hot R&B songs chart, making him the first artist in history to achieve this. The Weekend has won two Grammy awards.

The Fray

The Fray
The Fray is an American rock band from Denver, Colorado. Formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King. They achieved success with the release of their debut album, How to Save a Life in 2005 which was certified  double platinum by the RIAA and platinum in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK. The Fray achieved national success with their first single, "Over my head", which became a top ten hit in the United States. The release of their second single, "How to save a life", brought the band worldwide fame. The song charted in the top three of the Billboard top 100 and was a top 5 single in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and the UK. The band is composed of Joe King, Isaac Slade, Dave Welish, and Ben Wysocki. My favorite song by the Fray is How to save a life. The group started in 2002 and are still a band today. The genre of this band is pop rock and Christian rock.

Rascal Flatts
Rascal flatts is an American country music group formed in Columbus, Ohio in 1999. The band is composed of Gary LeVox and second cousins Jay DeMarcus  and Joe Don Rooney. DeMarcus is a brother-in-law of country singer James Otto, and formerly one-half of the Christian music duo east to west. Gary is the Lead Vocalist. Jay plays bass guitar, keyboard, and he is a background singer.  Joe plays electric guitar and he sings background. Their studio albums have accounted for more than 25 singles, of which 12 have reached Number 1 on Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay. Their longest-lasting number-one hit, a cover of Marcus Hummons "God Bless the Broken Road". It spent five weeks in that position in 2005. Rascal Flatts also have helped support music education in disadvantaged U.S. public schools by filming a PSA with Little Kids Rock. Through their encouragement for music education, giving the gift of music is possible in children’s lives.

Demetria Devonne "DemiLovato is an American singer, songwriter, actress and model who made her debut as a child actress in Barney and friends. She was born August 20, 1992 In 2008, She rose to prominence in the television film Camp Rock and signed a recording contract with Hollywood records. Musically, She is considered a pop, pop rock, and R&B artist. She released her debut album Dont forget, that September it debuted at # 2 on the U.S. billboard 200 and has been certified gold by the Recording industry association of america  for sales of over 530,000 copies. In 2009, She received her own TV show, Sonny with a chance.  Her second album,Here we go again,  was released that July and debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, and it has been certified gold by the Recording industry association of america for sales of over 650,000 copies. Its title track became her first single to break the top 20 of the billboard top 100, reaching number 15, and was certified platinum. Her hometown is Dallas, Texas and she became famous in 2002.

Twenty-one pilots
Twenty one pilots is an American musical duo that originates from Columbus, Ohio. The band was formed in 2009 and consists of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun.  They put out two Self-released albums. Twenty One Pilots in 2009 and Regional at Best in 2011, before being signed by Fulled By Ramen in 2012. They released their signed debut, Vessel, with Fueled by Ramen in 2013. Their second signed album, Blurryface, was released on May 15, 2015 through the same label. Tyler came up with the band's name while studying All My Sons by Aurthor Miller.  A play about a man who must decide what is best for his family after causing the death of 21 pilots during WW2. Past members of the band were Nick Thomas and Chris Salih. I'm not for sure why they are out of the band now.

Christina Judith Perri was born on August 19, 1986. She is an american singer and songwriter. She is from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Her most famous song is "Jar of hearts". The single song over three million copies in the U.S. She is 29 years old. She became famous in 2010. The genres she does are pop, pop rock, adult contemporary, and folk music. In 2012, she wrote and recorded "A Thousand Years" for the twilight films. The song went on sale and sold millions of copies in the U.S. Christina Perri was married in 2009, but got divorced 18 months later.
